Step 5. Be Clear As To What Holds You Back
Be aware of the arrangements, situations, obligations, and limiting beliefs that are holding you back from operating at peak levels. By clearly identifying them, you can start working to remove them, replace them, or push them out of the way as you work toward your goals.
ACTION: Place positive affirmations on your mirror, in your car, or phone.
Step 6. Be Coachable
Allow yourself to dodge a lot of roadblocks you will encounter going at this alone by employing the help of a COACH. Learn from those who have been there, done that, and went through the pain of GROWTH.
ACTION: Join a leadership podcast like John Maxwell, or others.
Step 7. Always Continue To Learn And Apply It
Now, you may be thinking, you’re out of school and you are done trying to cram your brain with information that may or may not be useful. This is not what is meant by always continue to learn. It is important to always continue to improve yourself.

ACTION: Pick up a book, listen to audio, engage in conversation.
Step 8: Pay the Price…Enjoy the Process
Give up things now that do not further you in your objectives. Understand that reaching your personal peak is not a destination, it is a PROCESS.
Don’t obsess about the destination but enjoy the journey.
ACTION: Limit TV time or cut it out all together, wake up at the same time daily (whether you have early or late class, or it's the weekend), only engage with those that are engaging in their own personal growth development.
Step 9: Keep Challenging Yourself
Once you reach peak levels, the key to sustaining them is to continuously challenge yourself. For example: if you can see a 300/wk then you can see 400/wk and so on.
ACTION: When you reach one SMART goal, immediately create a new one. DON’T GET COMPLACENT.
